THE MARBLE ROOM
A PRIVATE SUITE WITH A WORLD FAMOUS RENAISSANCE FRESCO
Named for its lavish and impressive 18th Century marble fireplace, the Marble Room is a private suite off the colommade entrance, perfect for group or client associate gaming away from the main tables and gaming floor. The room is styled around the grand fireplace with its fine-gold painted spiral designs and intricate coving. The oval Renaissance fresco on the ceiling is one of the most beautiful and striking characteristics of Les Ambassadeurs Club, a real showstopper and part of No. 5 Hamilton Place history since the 1830s. It depicts The Four Seasons by English portrait and panorama painter, Edmund Thomas Parris (who painted Queen Victoria among other notable works). It is similar to a painting by the same artist at Rothschild’s Gunnersbury Park residence. There are five private playing tables along with a dining table set for four, allowing meals to be ordered from the restaurant and enjoyed privately away from the dining room. Hand-selected croupiers are available for your playing requirements across all classic and modern gaming, along with personal service from the bar and the restaurant's extensive wine and champagne list.
